NXP NHS3100 NTAG Sensor Development Kit

NXP Semiconductors NHS3100 NTAG^® Sensor Development Kit, NHS3100SENSORADK, provides a quick start for application development based on the NHS3100 NTAG SmartSensor.

There are many applications where the handling of goods must be tracked, from industrial environments where products are shipped across the globe to medical supplies. By monitoring the whole process of goods handling, it is possible to identify damaged or poorly handled imports.

This development board combines the NTAG smart sensor, a MEMS accelerometer, and a humidity sensor connected via I²C.

This NHS3100 is the master of the development board and controls the monitoring for different sensor values. The UHF interface allows one to see the identity of the goods along with the status of handling. Via NFC, the sensors are selected, activated, and started. NFC is also used to upload the logged values and events to the cloud.

The NHS3100 includes an embedded Arm^® Cortex^®-M0+ microprocessor, which offers flexibility to developers to implement the device into their own dedicated Time-Temperature Integrator solutions.
